This panel presentation will focus on the mood and anxiety disorders that women may experience during the teen/young adult, childbearing and midlife and beyond years. The hormonal and medical factors affecting women's mental health, including effects of the reproductive years, perimenopause, and menopause will be discussed. An overview of at-risk signs, treatment options, societal issues that affect women's mental health, and barriers to treatment will be addressed.
