Title: C7 - Reproductive Health Care of Women with Physical Disabilities Across the Lifespan

Learning Objectives:
- Identify reproductive health issues across the lifespan that affect WWD.
- Discuss measures nurses can use during gynecologic examinations to promote the safety, comfort, and dignity of WWD.
- Explore ways nurses can improve the health care of WWD within the health care system.
Women with disabilities (WWD) face unique barriers in relation to accessing adequate reproductive health care. Common reproductive issues that affect WWD throughout their lives will be discussed. This presentation explores strategies nurses can use to promote the reproductive health of WWD.
