Title: F4 - What to Do When You Find Yourself in a Puddle of Blood
Disciplines: Childbearing (CB)
Learning Objectives:
- Improve multidisciplinary readiness, recognition, response, and reporting of hemorrhage in the obstetrical patient.
- Identify skills required in the use of equipment employed in caring for a post partum hemorrhage.
- Develop scenarios for stimulation and tool kits for use in obstetrical hemorrhage.
Using the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC) initiative objectives, a course was developed integrating both didactic and simulation techiques associated with the interdisciplinary care of patients with obstetrical hemorrhage.
