- Review the goals, strengths and limitations of cancer screening tests.
- Describe the USPSTF recommendations for breast cancer screening.
- Discuss the ACOG recommendations for cervical cancer screening.
New screening guidelines for breast and cervical cancer have recently been proposed. These recommendations have created professional and public confusion. This presentation will review the current data used to support these changes as well as the responses of professional organizations to them.
