Title: PC1 - STABLE: Post-Resuscitation/Pre-Transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants

Learning Objectives:
- Discuss components of the STABLE Program mnemonic, and how this mnemonic can be utilized to provide optimal post - resuscitation and pre-transport care for newborns.
- Review essential assessment strategies for hypoglycemia, hypothermia, respiratory distress, hypotension, and sepsis in the newborn.
- Describe nursing interventions to safely support sick newborns in terms of glucose, thermoregulatory, respiratory, hemodynamic, and sepsis management.
STABLE is designed for healthcare providers in a
wide variety of settings. This full day educational program provides
general guidelines for the assessment and stabilization of sick infants
in the post-resuscitation/pre-transport period.
