Submission Description:
There are 300 million mobile phones in the US to deliver timely, relevant, and appropriate education to pregnant women and new mothers. Mobile phones are popular among young people and across social classes. Evaluation of the benefits and effectiveness of this type of program is essential. As text messaging becomes more commonly used for health promotion, it may be the fast, low cost and most popular mode of communication and education to women.
