Submission Description:
The year 2015 is the effective date for the implementation of a new model to regulate advanced practice registered nurses (APRN) as well as the the doctorate of nursing practice (DNP). This session provides an overview of this model for APRN regulation and the implications for licensure, accreditation, certification and education and its vision for the future of APRN practice. The DNP is will also be discussed.
