- Describe how nurses can influence health policy
- Provide suggestions on how to work effectively with legislative staff
- Identify advocacy tools and resources for getting involved in the legislative process
Are you interested in learning more about the legislative process and how nurses can affect change? Come to the Legislative Forum! This session will provide an opportunity for you to share experiences and learn from others who are actively engaged in legislative issues. Nurses who plan to attend this session are invited to submit questions in advance and the panel will spend part of the session addressing questions with common themes. Questions should be submitted by May 30 to kwade@awhonn.org.
