  1. Identify at least two likely benefits of hormonal contraception beyond pregnancy prevention.
  2. Summarize indications and considerations for use of long acting reversible contraception.
  3. Explore new developments and future innovations in contraception.
Submission Description:
This session will explore new contraceptive methods and changing concepts about existing ones. Hormonal, barrier and long acting methods will be discussed, as well as options for special patient populations such as lactating women or women with heavy menses.
