  1. Relate the risk factors that predispose the childbearing woman to placental abnormalities.
  2. Discuss the development of a multidisciplinary plan of care for the patient with placenta previa, accreta, increta or percreta.
  3. Describe evaluation of a plan of care with relationship to maternal and fetal outcomes.
Submission Description:
This presentation will outline the patient at risk for placental anomalies, focusing on prenatal diagnosis. Risk factors and management strategies will be presented and a sample case study will review in a debriefing format the outcomes for both the mother and infant.
