  2. Discuss effective age-appropriate strategies for addressing overweight and obesity.
  3. Explore the role of self-care as a health care professional.
Submission Description:
Overweight and obesity is affecting the health of women in growing numbers across all age groups. This 4-hour presentation is designed to provide practical ways to address this growing health concern among a broad range of age groups and clinical settings in even the most time-limited patient encounters. Attendees will be able to identify and act on opportunities for discussing and addressing weight using effective and age appropriate strategies. The workshop also includes exploration of the role of self-care as a health care professional.
