Submission Description:
This interactive, case-based session addresses the essential elements to changing organizational culture through individual and system accountability. The components of a safety culture are discussed, and participants will understand the eight essential elements required for organizations to effectively address behaviors that undermine a culture of safety. A model for graduated levels of interventions for addressing behaviors that undermine a culture of safety is presented, and participants practice the levels of intervention through skill building exercises.
