- Compare and contrast the physiology between headaches and strokes.
- Analyze the evidence that links migraine with stroke in women.
- Discuss the management of migraine in women in select clinical scenarios.
This presentation will briefly review the classification and pathophysiology of headaches and strokes. The discussion will focus on the analysis of evidence that links migraines with stroke in women. Some cases will be reviewed to reinforce linking evidence to practice.
