Submission Description:
The best practice for those caring for birthing women and their neonates continues to evolve. The purpose of this presentation is to review the evidence of several practices that have recently been demonstrated to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes. The evidence of the active management of the third stage of labor, as most currently described, will be included.
