- Detail specific features of fetal circulation
- Determine differences in acyanotic vs cyanotic heart defects
- Identify physical assessment determinants of selected congenital heart disease conditions
This presentation will provide an overview of fetal/neonatal circulation to provide a method of classifying selected congenital heart defects in the newborn. Additionally, physical assessment techniques as well as long term outcomes for newborns with selected congenital heart defects will be discussed.
