Asthma is one of the leading chronic medical problems exacerbated during pregnancy affecting approximately 3-8% of this population. This case study will be fully explored, inspiring staff to refresh their knowledge. Education on triggers, management and treatment plans, effective provider/patient communication, and fetal complications are essential in improving maternal and newborn outcomes.
