  • Submission Description:
    Follow the journey of Women’s Care charge nurses who were blindly walking into a role that was undeveloped, lacked support, had no authority or guidance. With the transition of management in Women’s Care a formal leadership program was developed. Three training sessions were created to strengthen the Charge Nurse role in Women’s Care hardwiring expectations, empowerment and knowledge to set them on the path of excellence and become trailblazers in a rural community hospital.

    The Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
