Though still a minority, the prevalence of men in nursing continues to rise, and their passion for all specialties of nursing is evident as male nurses are pursuing all specialties including Women’s Health. However, inclusion of men in Women’s Health is not without barriers including stigma, discrimination, and lack of reception to the idea of. This panel discussion lead by Attorney Lisa Miller will highlight lived experiences of male nurses in women’s health and collectively discuss strategies to increase inclusivity and decrease biases.
