  • Discuss barriers related to throughput for triage patients
  • Illustrate how use of Six Sigma & Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control(DMAIC) quality methodology was used to re design triage staffing and workflow
  • Describe how implementation of defined triage nurse role improved patient length of stay and staff satisfaction

  • Submission Description:
    Re-design of current triage process to improve efficiency, throughput and decrease patient length of stay from 3.3 hours to 1.5 hours.
