Families growing through surrogacy present complex social, emotional, and legal issues. South Shore Hospital's Families through Surrogacy program offers a coordinated approach to identifying and serving the needs of surrogates and intended parents. A nurse-led multi-disciplinary team pioneered this program to address concerns impacting the care of these families.
