Submission Description:
This is a case of a 25-year-old primigravida, presented at term, with unremarkable prenatal care and history who underwent an emergency cesarean section for fetal distress. On postpartum day 3, she began to exhibit signs and symptoms of HELLP syndrome. Three days later and continuing to deteriorate, she was transferred to a regional tertiary center, diagnosed and aggressive treated for Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura-Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (TTP-HUS), a rare pregnancy and postpartum complication.
