  • Identify the outcomes impacted by this comprehensive postpartum hemorrhage education program.

  • Submission Description:
Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) is the single most important cause of maternal mortality across the globe. In response to the National Partnership for Maternal Safety’s call to action we sought to implement a multidisciplinary comprehensive program to assess hemorrhage risk with early intervention and improve real time blood loss assessment and response. Our interdisciplinary team developed an interactive skills program focusing on assessment and management of postpartum hemorrhage with the goal of impacting quality and safety.
