Learning Objectives:
  • Describe the unique characteristics of being a educator in a maternal-newborn setting
  • Outline 10 teaching techniques and strategies to use in the maternal-newborn setting.
  • Explain methods of evaluating learning associated with each of the 10 techniques/strategies.

  • Submission Description:
    A toolbox of techniques and strategies to enhance learning in the maternal-newborn, birth and neonatal setting. These tool can be used by the faculty from a school of nursing, clinical instructors, preceptors and unit based nurse educators.
