Title: PC4 – Bundling Simulation: Using Simulation to Implement the National Partnership for Maternal Safety Bundles

Learning Objectives:
  • Review the concepts of simulation-based training.
  • Describe how simulation-based training can be used to determine a process for implementation of the maternal safety bundles.
  • Discuss how simulation-based training can be used to support highly reliable unit adoption of bundle components.

  • Submission Description:
    This workshop will discuss how simulation-based training can be used to implement the maternal safety bundles. Various strategies will be described to assist with determining the best process for implementation and adoption of practice standards in the hemorrhage, VTE and hypertension bundles.
