  • Identify several state and/or local policy changes that have positively impacted the health of new mothers.
  • Describe the benefits of paid leave policies for women and infants.
  • Describe to negative health effects associated with a lack of paid leave.

  • Submission Description:
    It’s hard to read the news without seeing something about paid leave. Big technology companies are increasingly offering it to employees. Presidential candidates are talking about it. Cities and states are implementing paid leave policies and still more are considering it. Learn about the issue paid leave and its implications for working women, family economic stability, and breastfeeding success.
