  • Discuss the impact of commonly used psychiatric medications on sexuality and review potential solutions to minimize sexual issu es.
  • Examine prescribing considerations related to psychiatric medications and adverse sexual issues.

  • Submission Description:
    Psychiatric medications often produce significant sexual side effects that can affect the client’s quality of life and impact whether he/she chooses to continue the medication. This presentation will discuss prescribing considerations and potential solutions to minimize sexual side effects for those needing psychiatric medications.
