  2. Describe treatment complexities in caring for women diagnosed with breast cancer during pregnancy.
  3. Discuss triage of the pregnant patient with breast cancer.
Submission Description:
Breast cancer and pregnancy are events that have enormous implications for women. Dilemmas faced by women diagnosed with breast cancer during pregnancy include diagnosis, treatment and future fertility. The delay of diagnosis due to young age, the ramifications of treatment during pregnancy on both mother and fetus are serious issues. This presentation will address management of breast cancer in pregnancy and impact on the mother and fetus.
