  1. Identify at least one red flag that might indicate a potential victim of human trafficking.
  2. Articulate nursing actions needed upon the identification of a possible victim of human trafficking.
  3. Extrapolate the process for referrals in the instance of a possible human trafficking victim.
Submission Description:
You may be the first contact a victim of human trafficking has in the health care setting. “Often victims are in plain sight, yet not rescued due to lack of knowledge on the part of health care workers", according to a statement by the United States Department of Health and Human Services in 2010.
