Patient safety is a concern to all healthcare workers. Perinatal patients are at an increased risk for preventable harm throughout the continuum of care, especially during the childbirth experience. This talk will discuss the role of the Perinatal Patient Safety Nurse as a clinical leader to promote safety to women giving birth.
