Learning Objectives:
- Identify personal strengths and weaknesses related to electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) interpretation and management.
- List three evidence- and consensus-based principles of EFM interpretation.
- Apply a standardized management algorithm to EFM tracing review.
This program is designed for clinicians, experts, and educators interested in an evidence and consensus-based approach to intrapartum electronic fetal monitoring (EFM). Participants will review current evidence and principles of patient safety, incorporating this knowledge into a practical and teachable method of standardized EFM interpretation and management suitable for all clinicians and all levels of experience. Tools for implementation of a standardized approach will be included in the workshop.
