Submission Description:
Telehealth is an exciting new area for nurses in maternal/neonatal nursing. Technology is at our finger-tips and sometimes is used without a second thought, but nurses should be aware of issues associated with telehealth and technology. This presentation will use case studies to provide an overview of maternal/newborn telehealth nursing while highlighting examples of correct and incorrect nursing standards of care, regulatory compliance, HIPAA compliance, and nursing licensure compliance.
