  2. Discuss the most common reasons Baby Friendly designation is avoided or unsuccessfully achieved.
  3. Identify resources available to assist with a successful Baby Friendly journey and designation.
Submission Description:
Are you looking for support and guidance as you work to achieve Baby Friendly status? This will be a ˇ§how toˇ¨ session for anyone whose hospital is either considering or currently working to achieve Baby Friendly designation. Content will include a full discussion and review of the ten steps to Baby Friendly designation, design a plan including how to overcome obstacle and resistance, and identification of resources that can be used on the journey to achieve Baby Friendly status. You will leave this session energized with all the tools and ideas necessary to make your journey to Baby Friendly successful.
