  • Identify the importance of performing QBL versus EBL at delivery and the postpartum recovery period.
  • Compare the results of the nurses who participated in the QBL workshops with the overall unit QBL results.
  • Outline the particular aspects of carrying out the QBL workshops at your healthcare institution.

  • Submission Description:
    The goal of this training is to increase the performance and documentation of (QBL) at delivery and at the end of the postpartum recovery period. By increasing performance and documentation of QBL the staff will be able to recognize significant blood loss and implement timely interventions in the management of postpartum hemorrhage.

    The Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
