  • Recognize capacity within a system to use shared governance with upper management and leadership to become more engaged.
  • Expand knowledge to promote standardized evidence-based practice within a hospital system.
  • Discuss areas for cost savings, improved patient outcomes and professional growth.

  • Submission Description:
    The purpose of this presentation is to motivate and encourage nursing leadership to utilize formal collaboration as an avenue to facilitate change. This paper will discuss the formation of a multi-facility OB consortium charter that empowers the transformation of outdated practices and give specific information about accomplishments achieved through this collaboration.
