  • Identify the benefits of a Neonatal Rapid Response team in a community hospital setting.
  • List the members of the neonatal Rapid response team and their respective roles
  • Describe the notification and communication process for activation of a neonatal rapid response

  • Submission Description:
    As a result of a root cause analysis, the development of a neonatal rapid response team was undertaken to provide a timely and coordinated approach to an unexpected neonatal event in a community hospital setting. The overall goal is to improve patient safety and prevent mortality.
