  • Submission Description:
    Rape trauma syndrome (RTS)is a posttraumatic stress disorder that may be triggered by the numerous procedures experienced by a woman during routine labor and delivery care. Without knowledge of the signs and symptoms of RTS the labor and delivery RN may retraumatize the patient during intrapartum care.
